As part of our air quality monitoring, we carry out asbestos surveys and general occupational surveys regarding the environment. Our Firm is headed by Roy E Clarke who has over 30 years experience in environmental matters including air quality studies, occupational hygiene, toxicology, waste management, pesticide residues, asbestos surveys, water pollution and contaminated land. Mr Clarke was the Project Manager responsible for establishing the UK urban air quality monitoring network sites. This involved planning applications, negotiations with private companies and individuals, builders and the establishment of electricity supplies and telephone connections. He has experience of many investigations into industrial emissions; ambient air quality, nuisance dust and occupational exposure to a wide variety of chemicals, leading us to carry out asbestos surveys. He has devised numerous methods to analyse specific components in air complex natural products including tobacco and food. He has assisted testing laboratories in the chemical and physical testing of Building Products and helped them attain UKAS accreditation for LEV/COSHH assessment and asbestos surveys. Formerly manager of a General Analytical Laboratory for a major manufacturing company, leading a team of graduate scientific staff and using a wide variety of modern analytical instruments, he has considerable experience of instituting Quality Management Systems to BS5750 and ISO 9001. We specialise in asbestos survey services, occupational exposure monitoring, LEV assessment and COSHH assessment. We also complete emission monitoring, air quality monitoring and asbestos monitoring.
